Guglierto prende il suo nome dall'autore del suo libro preferito. È un piccolo gamberetto assiduo lettore e conversatore che vive nel sottosuolo al buio e totalmente da solo. Egli infatti riesce a conversare solo con se stesso, dibattendo anche animatamente. La sua specie è reputata estinta, ma possiede una capacità unica nel sua genere, può "abitare la morte".
